Birthday Twins

What makes someone your birthday twin?

A birthday twin shares the month and day you were born. Someone born on June 15 in a different year can be your birthday twin; someone born in your year on June 16 is not a match under this definition.

Three types of connection

TypeWhat it means here
Birthday twinThe same month and day, regardless of year.
Celebrity twinA public figure in the directory with that month and day.
Zodiac twinA profile grouped under the app’s zodiac date ranges. This is a broader entertainment category, not a birthday match or a scientific compatibility result.

Try the app without your real birthday

  1. Open the demo and choose “Explore with sample details.”
  2. Open Celebrity Twins to see matches for the sample date.
  3. Switch to the full celebrity directory to search by name or category.
  4. Use a profile’s source link to check the underlying birthday information.

The sample date is June 15. You can change the date locally to explore another day; you do not need to use your own birth year.

Why your year does not affect celebrity matches

Birthday matching compares the month and day only. A year may appear in a celebrity biography to describe that person, but it does not decide whether the calendar date matches. For this prototype, a date entered into the form is stored locally in your browser.

What about February 29?

A February 29 birthday is its own date. Birthday Twins does not automatically treat February 28 or March 1 as the same birthday. People born on leap day may celebrate on a different day in non-leap years; that personal choice is separate from an exact calendar-date match.

Why a result might be missing

The directory is a snapshot, not a complete list of everyone with your birthday. A missing match may mean the person is not included or a record needs correction. A match does not establish celebrity participation or endorsement.

Start a conversation with something more than the date

Try asking, “What birthday tradition would you keep forever?” or “Do you prefer a quiet dinner or a big gathering?” The shared day is the opening; different stories make the conversation interesting. In this prototype, sample conversations are local demonstrations.
